Who Can Pass Up a Bargain?
Last year Perry’s Steakhouse, a restaurant chain known for, well, steaks, opened a location in downtown Austin not far from where Jenni, Mere, and I all work. It didn’t take long for the secret to get out that they offer an amazing pork chop that will make you look down at all other pork chops for the rest of your life.
I’m not a big pork fan so I didn’t exactly run over to Perry’s. But, Friday my coworkers talked me into joining their usual Friday group that goes for the pork chop. I figured, well I might as well try it since everybody makes such a big deal about it. Oh. My. God. I had no idea what I was missing!
You see all of that? That pork chop was easily 4″ thick. I mean, insane! Guess how much the entire lunch was? $10.95 (w/out tax and tip)!!! On Fridays for lunch they offer up the pork chop at the bargain price of $10.95. It’s highway robbery and I like it!
Needless to say, I’m in trouble now that I know about this deliciousness at a bargain. If you haven’t tried Perry’s, check it out. Even at regular prices it is well worth it.
