7.09I am the Biggest Out of Control Fatroll Loser!!!  18 weeks and 25 lbs later I am a new woman…literally!  I went from a size 12 to a size 8.  That’s right!  I’m in the single digits, a place I have NEVER been size-wise.  There is nothing like the feeling I have now!  To know that I set my mind on something and not only met it but surpassed it gives me a great sense of accomplishment and empowerment.  This is the first time I’ve ever lost weight without being hungry and damn it feels good!

So I won, now what?  Now I have to maintain a weight that I honestly never thought I could get to again.  I haven’t been in the vicinity of 150 since I starved myself in high school.  Losing the weight has nothing on actually facing the idea of maintaining it.  The way I see it, if I can make it through the holidays without gaining more than 2% I will feel legitimate.  I’m not saying I can’t do it, because I WILL do it.  But I have to retrain my mind to believe that I can be something other than the super curvy girl with the great personality.  Now I’m the smokin’ hot girl with an even more confident and great personality!

A big part of losing weight is mental.  You have to mentally tell yourself you’re ready to make a lifestyle change.  You have to train yourself to make better decisions.  You have to tell yourself that you can make it to your goal.  You have to believe that you can keep it off.  I’ve been through all of these phases and I’m now ready to face a healthier rest of my life in a smaller body!

Thank you Fatroll followers for keeping us motivated and inspiring us to keep going!
