Poll Thursday
Obviously, this poll is going to be slightly slanted, given that we’re polling our own readers. But I am curious to know your thoughts.
In the Oct. 28 issue of the Statesman, someone wrote in discounting our hard work in the Round 1 portion of @fatroll. Here is the full text:
I’m all for celebrating weight loss and the commitment to getting healthier as highlighted in Pam LeBlanc’s story. But come on, two of the four women started out at 125 and 127 pounds.
Talk to me when you find four women who work, run a household, are in a committed long-term relationship and are raising a child (or children) — like me. If those women can find the time, commitment and dedication to a healthy lifestyle and lose weight to boot, then we’ll really have something to celebrate.
Until then, going from 125 pounds to 114? Please.
The girls and I are currently working on a response to this individual for the Letters to the Editor section (and we’ll post our response on here), but we’re curious. What are your thoughts? Feel free to add any additional thoughts or opinions in the comments section. And if you’re feeling particularly spry, we encourage you to send a Letter to the Editor by clicking here.
