Holiday fat FAIL recap

We all knew this was coming. It’s the holidays for goodness sake. I’m terrified of the next weigh-in; though, I’m sure the shock would be good. The final weigh-in for this second stage is quickly approaching. I better figure it out soon or another bikini shot will be gracing these internet pages soon.

But first, I must repent. Confessing my ultimate @fatroll sins. So here goes.

This holiday season, I’ve coupled the traditional holiday gorging with the typical break-up coping eateries. This includes almost all the sweets set in front of me. Perhaps not a full serving of each but even small amounts eventually total into something larger (= larger thighs).

My family and friends have also hosted quite a few parties. All of which presented a buffet of goodies. Luckily, being a vegetarian has limited my options. Probably my only saving grace this holiday season.

Dishes include:

  • Butternut squash and maple apple soup
  • Salad
  • Cupcakes
  • Brownies
  • Hummus and crackers
  • Deep dish veggie pizza
  • Rice
  • Beans
  • Rolls
  • Cookies
  • Steamed broccoli and cauliflower
  • Blueberry Cheesecake
  • Indian food (we’re non traditionalist)
