From Loser…to Loser!

So I kicked butt in Round 1 and came out the biggest loser.  WIN!  Then the holidays came around and I ate more pumpkin chocolate chip cookies (amongst other things) than any one person should ever eat.  FAIL!  I now find myself vicariously close to losing Round 2.

Last week I was still in the clear but if I gain 0.1 lb today I am in a bikini.  Normally this would not be a problem.  I would have spent this past week counting my WW points and working out as usual just to maintain.  That was not meant to be though.

With last weekend being a 3 day holiday weekend, a special someone flew in from NYC to see me and I had to be a good hostess.  What is being a good hostess in my mind?  Taking him to some of my favorite restaurants and eating the best things on the menu (aka FAILS).  My delicious weekend consisted of:

Saturday-

  • Ginormous turkey, brie, and avocado sandwich at Whole Foods
  • Three slices of stuffed Mangia Mia Pizza and beer

Sunday-

  • Salt Bagel with cream cheese (not low-fat)
  • Family Style BBQ at Salt Lick- all I could eat brisket, sausage, pork ribs, potatoes, and bread
  • Warm Peach Cobbler a la Mode

Monday-

  • Bob Armstrong Dip, Chips, and Chicken Fajitas with rice and beans at Matt’s El Rancho
  • The rest of my turkey, brie, and avocado sandwich from Saturday
  • Angel Food Cake with Cool Whip

While I have been good the past two days and jumped right back on the workout wagon, I am not exactly optimistic.  It was a wonderfully fail-filled weekend that I don’t regret…but I think it will cost me a picture in a bikini.  Wish me luck!
