Out of Control Fatroll

This time last year, Justin’s mom was diagnosed with a very aggressive form of breast cancer. Today, she is doing much better and we’re excited about her progress. Justin’s grandmother is also battling cancer as well and my grandmother is a 20+ year breast cancer survivor, so cancer research is something near and dear to both our hearts.

Over the past two years, I’ve been working really hard to get Justin into running with me without much luck (he’s not exactly a fan). So we settled on a compromise — he would commit to walking a 5K with me. And on Sunday, November 1, we’re donig it! And even better, it’s the Race for the Cure 5K. And I know money is tight right now (I know it is for us), so please don’t feel like you need to donate large sums of money (or any at all). Just being out there to support other people effected by breast cancer is a really important as well.
