Out of Control Fatroll

From the birth of our brilliant idea to challenge each other to lose weight via a blog we had planned to take a trip to celebrate at the end.  First, we wanted to go to Mexico…then we realized that would be expensive and risky health-wise (Swine Flu much?).  Second, we talked about going to a spa…but that can be pretty expensive in and of itself.  Third, Mere had the brilliant idea to go stay at Hotel Kimmy.  Ding ding ding ding ding!  We have a winner!!!

Kimmy is Mere’s mom and she is Martha Stewart incarnate.  From the moment we walked in the door she made it special and celebrated our weightloss accomplishments.  Sadly, Kristine had a last minute family trip that took her to San Francisco so she was unable to join us for the weekend.  She was sorely missed and we will make it up to her soon!

Friday night Kimmy had a fatroll themed dinner complete with roll foods of all kinds:  eggrolls, Tootsie Rolls, pumpkin roll, etc.  She even gave me a roll cake made out of towels!!!  Cute and low in fat!  I had my own winner’s cup and to top it off, literally, she had an Out of Control Fat Roll tiara.  The napkins said “It’s a party.  No dieting allowed”.  Classic!  She thought of every detail and we appreciated every bit of it!

While the weekend was not altogether fatroll friendly, as Jen mentioned in her post, we deserved to celebrate and it was Jen’s birthday.  Thank you to Kimmy and Jimmy for their AMAZING hospitality!!!  I’m going to let the pictures tell the story of our celebratory weekend.  This will definitely be a scary weigh-in for the three of us but it was totally worth it!
